Sevierville

Sevierville's historical red brick county courthouse stands out with its tall ornate tower and establishes the city as the county seat and center of commerce for Sevier County . The city stretches south along Route 66 from Interstate 40 to Pigeon Forge. Sevierville offers numerous special events during the year. Its annual Apple Festival features arts festivals, competitions, and great foods. The award-winning Sevier County Fair has over a week of Smokies skills, celebrities, products, and games. Sevierville features dozens of factory outlet stores, two championship golf courses, numerous antique malls and flea markets and several fine dining restaurants.

Wears Valley

Wears Valley is one of the most beautiful valleys you will find in the United States . Close by are hiking trails, mountain streams and waterfalls, wildlife, whitewater rafting, llama trekking, kayaking, tubing, horseback riding and other outdoor adventure provided within Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is located between Pigeon Forge and Townsend. From Pigeon Forge take U.S. 321 (turn at right onto Wears Valley Road ). The nation's largest concentration of independent artists, artisans and crafters are in the Smoky Mountain region. You may enter Great Smoky Mountains National Park from Wears Valley, less than two miles from the cabin by way of Metcalf Bottoms. Just a few miles from Wears Valley is nature's open air museum, Cades Cove.

Gatlinburg

Gatlinburg is sometimes called the "Heart of the Smokies". Gatlinburg has a reputation as one of the South's favorite playgrounds, with more than 900 miles of scenic hiking trails, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, trout fishing, countless family attractions and more than 500 shops and restaurants. Furthermore, it's convenient to Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. All year-round, the city offers special events such as the Wildflower Festival, the nation's first July Fourth parade (held at 12:01 a.m.), Craftsmen's Fairs, a Dickens-style Christmas Fair, and the ever-popular Winterfest during which the "Smoky Mountain Lights" are displayed throughout the city. Popular attractions include Ober Gatlinburg, Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre, Hard Rock Cafe, Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, and Classic Country Theater.

Pigeon Forge

Pigeon Forge, home to the world renowned Dollyworld theme park, sits between the cities of Gatlinburg and Sevierville. Referred to as "action packed Pigeon Forge", the city is always bursting with activity. It has dozens of exquisite restaurants that serve everything from breakfast at the Parkway Pancake House to catfish, steak houses and good ole' country cookin'. The city also has hundreds of gift and souvenir shops, clothing and houseware stores, antique malls, and galleries. A few of Pigeon Forge's great entertainment highlights include The Comedy Barn, Memories Theatre, and Country Tonite Theatre.

Townsend

Townsend, is a peaceful town located just outside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, near the Little River and Cades Cove. Townsend and the surrounding area is full of activities and attractions and is the perfect spot of visits to the Park and other Great Smoky Mountains attractions. The village's heritage is unique and fascinating and visitors can discover its history at the many craft shops and seasonal festivals held in there. Townsend is located near Pigeon Forge and Sevierville and is only a short drive from Knoxville, Tennessee.
